How to Install lcdproc software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lcdproc software package provides LCD display driver daemon and clients, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lcdproc

lcdproc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lcdproc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lcdproc *

You will get with lcdproc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
